Coming in 2027 with the beginning of the micro-dairy will be a new initiative called "The Lighthouse".

Many of our guests and followers probably don't know that at one time I (Sarah) was in an abusive relationship. I was lucky enough to have my family to help and support myself and Ian when we left this relationship. Many women do not have this kind of help and support available. Through "The Lighthouse" Beacon Farms will be offering 3 part-time positions for women and women with children who are dedicated to leaving their life of abuse and creating a new beginning and fresh chapter to their lives. The women and children will receive on farm room and board, counselling services and life skills courses in addition to their part-time positions. It is the hope of Beacon Farms that through "The Lighthouse" women and children can find a place of safety, healing and hope.
