Want Fresh Milk Directly From the Farm?
We are so excited to announce that we will be providing cows milk in the near future!
Why Our Dairy Cows’ Milk Is Special
Cow milk is delicious and nutritious. It is not naturally homogenized meaning the cream will separate, but it will be whole milk. Our milk will not be homogenized. You can just drink it, or make butter, cream or cheese.
The milk will be batch pasteurized. Meaning it will be brought to our processing center within an hour of being milked. It will be heated quickly in a special stainless steel vat to 72C for 15 seconds, then immediately cooled and bottled. It’s as close to raw milk as can be legally sold.
We will bottle the milk in reusable glass bottles that need to be returned each time you pick up your milk.
Here’s how to buy directly from Beacon Farms.
Method #1 - Sign up for a milkshare.
What is a CSA milkshare?
When you pay upfront for a yearly share of milk from our farm you are part of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) milkshare. When you buy this share you are taking the risks of farming alongside us as well as reaping the benefits. By joining the CSA you are having a huge financial impact on our farm. You are reducing the need for loans to keep up cashflow and freeing us up to do what we love best… taking care of our animals and providing milk for you!
Pricing?
1 share – 2L of milk/week for a year 1 share - $416
2 shares – 4L of milk/week for a year 2 shares - $832

Method #2 - Mobile Farm Store
Another project on the go is our Mobile Farm Store (MFS). Once up and running the the MFS will be able to come to your neighbourhood on preset days where you can purchase goat meat and milk. The MFS will also serve Coffee, Hot Cider, Hot Chocolate, Lemonade, Milk, Flavoured Milkshakes and Ice Cream and will be available to book for events.
Method #3 - On Farm pickup
Once the dairy is up and producing milk, there will be hours Mon-Sat where you can stop by the farm and buy milk without being part of the milkshare program
